Noelani Anderson

Born and raised on the Hāmākua coast, Noelani is an arts educator and mental health professional who is passionate about how creativity, storytelling, movement, and expression inform our experience of the world.

She studied Theatre at Chapman University, lived in Central America for several years, and returned to Hawaii in 2016 where she has since earned a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology.

Noelani has been a teacher with PDI for nearly ten years and has collaborated in creating multiple shows with the school and its students. She is passionate about the role of the performing arts in supporting development and social-emotional learning, and she sees both the classroom and the stage as spaces to explore not only the arts, but also who we are.
